Week 1: Mapping Psychology to Astrology for Shadow and Inner Child Work: We learn the principles and history of the shadow and inner child in psychology to understand the terminology, concepts, and how it relates to the whole-self, the healthy adult self. We then map, or translate, the terminology and concepts to humanistic astrological principles and techniques, providing a foundation for revealing your shadow and inner child in your astrology chart.

Week 2: Introduction to Using Astrology for Shadow and Inner Child Work: We will cover three of the best-known ways of how to identify the shadow-self and inner child qualities using astrology. These techniques include using the polarities (opposing archetypes), using certain astrological objects identified as foundational for psychological work, and using challenging aspects. We will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each, and build a unified system to reveal the shadow and inner child qualities.

Week 3: Revealing the Shadow and Inner Child Qualities in Your Chart, Part 1: We will look at the Signs and their Ruling Planets and how these have a shadow-side and an inner child set of qualities. We will also identify the potential integrated versions, the whole-self or healthy adult qualities, for each Sign and its Ruling Planet.

Week 4: Revealing the Shadow and Inner Child Qualities in Your Chart, Part 2: We will look at the Houses and Aspects and how these can support, strengthen, or weaken shadow and inner child and healthy adult qualities. We will include some of the so-called "minor" aspects and the Angles in this discussion.

Week 5: Integrating the Shadow and Inner Child into Your Whole-Self: We will identify and explore several techniques and practices that allow you to deepen your understanding of the shadow and inner child in your astrology chart. We will then explore several techniques to help you integrate these into your whole-self, your best healthy adult self.

Week 6: Path to Healthy Whole-Self: We will discuss how we live our lives with the constant need to balance and integrate our shadow and inner child into our whole-self. We will review what we learned in this course, with a focus on identifying sustainable practices that we can easily and joyfully continue after the course ends.
